Quick Basil Pesto Pasta

This 15-minute, basil pesto pasta tossed with warm sweet peas and nutritional yeast is perfect for a lazy cooking day or rainy day! Delicious every time. đ±
Basil Pesto Pasta:
- 1 bag of brown rice fusilli pasta
- 1 can chickpeas (added last to pasta)Â
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oilÂ
- 1 cup fresh cilantroÂ
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast or parmesan cheeseÂ
- 2 cloves garlicÂ
- pinch of pink Himalayan saltÂ
- dash of pepper
Steps:
1. Boil pasta until al dente.
2. Blend all ingredients together except for the olive oil, until finely chopped.Â
3. Slowly add the olive oil until desired consistency, and pulse blend.Â
4. Drain pasta, add pesto sauce and 1/2 can of chickpeas. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast, Serve and enjoy :)Â
