Chocolate Chia Granola

One of my all time favorite snacks is granola. I love eating granola like cereal with 'milk,' sprinkled on yogurts and over acai bowls, or just on the go! The fun part about granola is that most of the recipes are relatively quick and easy, and store fresh up to month in the freezer. 

This chocolate chia granola is a nice twist on the first granola recipe I posted, and so far it has been my fix when I feel my energy is low. I hope you enjoy :)

Chocolate Chia Granola Recipe: 
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cup gluten free oats (I use Bob's Red Mill) 
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes 
- 6 tbsp pure syrup or agave 
- 1/4 cup chia seeds 
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2.5 tbsp cocoa powder 
- 1/2 c pecan/pistachio/dried fruit 

Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350F 
2. Mix all ingredients, until oats fully coated 
3. Spread granola onto lined tray and pat down with spatula 
4. Bake for 30 minutes 
5. Remove from oven and let cool 
6. Store in jars or bags up to 1 month. (Love placing in the freezer before sprinkling over yogurt)
